Stella's Room is a small dining room at number 46, a few doors along the parade. Bentwood chairs, pictures on the walls, the music kept low enough to talk over. Come in when the door opens at nine, or take a table later in the week — ask us about timings and we will find you a seat.

The door opens at nine every morning of the week, and we stay open later from Wednesday through Saturday. Whatever you are after — a table for two, a quiet corner, the long table for a group — ask us and we will talk it through.

“SO glad to have popped in here on Bank Holiday Monday. “I didn’t know what to expect as it was almost empty given the time, I think it’s more of a brunch place in terms of atmosphere and popularity. But the food was truly delicious, the mackerel crostini with pickles was amazing, so well seasoned, the lentil stew with roasted vegetables was so hearty and flavoursome.
